Appointment of new Rural Financial Counsellor for Coonamble and Coonabarabran LGA’s
Jeff Caldbeck, CEO of the Rural Financial Counselling Service, NSW Central Region (RFCSCR), recently announced the appointment of Allison Davis as the Rural Financial Counsellor (RFC) for the Coonamble and Coonabarabran regions.
Allison began with the Service in November 2019 and brings with her a great deal of experience in the rural assistance and banking sectors.
Having grown up in a farming family in North Western NSW, Allison pursued a career in agribusiness, holding a variety roles in the agricultural sector including marketing, finance, development and sales..
Allison is passionate about helping rural people overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis and is looking forward to working with farming families in developing strategies and accessing assistance to help their businesses.
“Having spent my career in the agricultural industries and coming from a farming and grazing family, I have a real desire to provide assistance to farmers who are looking for ways to overcome the financial challenges that they face,” Mrs Davis said.
The RFCS Central Region services a region covering approximately 54% of NSW, with 15 Rural Financial Counsellors located throughout. Our Counsellors are experts in reviewing and analysing financial information and will work with you to understand your current financial position, strategies and assistance available in order to make an informed decision.
Some of the services our RFC’s assist with include building cash flows, forecasts and budgets, review of loans, refinancing of debt and working towards better relationships with your bank. They work with families toward succession planning, and are able to refer you to advisors and services to help you work toward a sustainable, viable and successful outcome.
