CEO Opens New Office in West Wyalong 21.11.19

Appointment Of New Rural Financial Counsellor For Bathurst, Blayney, Oberon and Lithgow LGA’s

Jeff Caldbeck, CEO of the Rural Financial Counselling Service, NSW Central Region (RFCSCR), recently announced the opening of an office at West Wyalong due to the support of Bland Shire Council and the Rural Fire Service (NSW).

The region surrounding West Wyalong has been serviced for a number of years by a visiting Rural Financial Counsellor, currently John Beer and while John is based in Forbes he does travel weekly on a Wednesday to West Wyalong.

The new office is located at the headquarters of the Rural Fire Service, 221 Neeld Street, West Wyalong and will be open each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

In addition to the new office and as a result of funding from Bland Shire Council, RFCS Central Region has been able to appoint a part-time business analyst to assist John in processing and servicing clients. Karen Trethowan is a local woman and will be able to assist clients with their paperwork and initial consultations.

The RFCS Central Region services a region covering approximately 54% of NSW, with 15 Rural Financial Counsellors located throughout. Our Counsellors are experts in reviewing and analysing financial information and will work with you to understand your current financial position, strategies and assistance available in order to make an informed decision.

Some of the services our RFC’s assist with include building cash flows, forecasts and budgets, review of loans, refinancing of debt and working towards better relationships with your bank. They work with families toward succession planning, and are able to refer you to advisors and services to help you work toward a sustainable, viable and successful outcome.
